Puerto Rico

Hispanics in Philanthropy Fiona Response Fund
In the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona, HIP is launching the Fiona Response Fund to support Hispanic Federation, Community Foundation of Puerto Rico, the Fiona Community Response Fund, and Dominican Republic-based organizations’ relief efforts.

Puerto Rico Community Foundation
Choose “Fondo de Recuperación Comunitaria para Puerto Rico” from the drop down list to donate to support Puerto Rico Community Foundation recovery efforts following Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico.

The Fundación de Mujeres en Puerto Rico (FMnPR)
With FMnPR’s Emergency Fund, you can help “women farmers whose crops have been wiped out, mothers whose homes have been destroyed, families left without electricity or water, and women facing the exacerbated violence that invariably erupts when crises arrive”.

El Puente LCAN Puerto Rico
The Latino Climate Action Network (LCAN) office was impacted by Hurricane Fiona. El Puente has created an Emergency Relief Fund for LCAN so they can continue maintaining Energy Oasis Centers in Puerto Rico to help charge electronic devices and provide shelter to displaced residents.

Suministros Puerto Rico
This platform, created by the people of Puerto Rico, aims to serve as a direct link between those who need and those who want to help them. Donations are searchable by town and community for direct support.

Taller Salud
Taller Salud is a community-based, women-led nonprofit that’s also collecting aid for hurricane relief – including donations of items like toiletries, water filters and nonperishable foods. Donate with PayPal, via email, or on Taller Salud’s website.

Brigada Solidaria del Oeste
Brigada Solidaria del Oeste, a mutual-aid group based in Boquerón, Puerto Rico, is collecting emergency donations such as solar lamps, water filters, water purification tablets and first aid kids, as well as monetary donations. Learn more about donating here.

Ayuda Legal PR
Ayudalegalpr.org is an initiative of Ayuda Legal Puerto Rico, Inc. This virtual tool seeks to promote access to justice in Puerto Rico through open and accessible legal information.

Fundacion Pisadas de Amor
Fundacion Pisadas de Amor is aimed at improving the quality of life of our older adults and families, transforming their homes into decent places to live.

Techos Pa’ Mi Gente

Comedores Sociales de Puerto Rico

Collier Community Foundation
The Collier Comes Together Disaster Relief Fund allows CCF to act immediately in the face of hurricanes to benefit local nonprofit programs and relief efforts, getting funds where they are needed most – quickly and efficiently at no administrative cost.

World Central Kitchen
WCK is first to the frontlines, responding to humanitarian, climate, and community crises in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Help the WCK Relief Team mobilize to the frontlines to provide meals to people in need.
