Dylan Álvarez Ramos
Dylan Álvarez Ramos is an intern at the “Designing a framework for the evaluation of vulnerability to acidification of Puerto Rico’s oceans” project in partnership with Sea Grant at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus (UPRM).
Dylan is currently completing his first year as a Political Science undergraduate student at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus, focusing his studies on sociology and environmental policy. As a Puerto Rican living in a coastal community, Dylan’s main interests are the socioeconomic dynamics of these areas and their vulnerability to climate change. He cares about the intersectionality of government and environmental sciences as our fight to mitigate climate change continues.
Apart from studying, he’s passionate about coffee, music and visiting all the beaches in Puerto Rico.
