Michelle is the Digital Content Manager at The Ocean Foundation. She holds a BA from the School of Media of Arts and Design at James Madison University, and has multiple years of experience telling organizations’ stories through writing, graphic design and video production. Prior to her role at The Ocean Foundation, Michelle was Creative Brand Manager at Phone2Action, and Creative Manager at Public Relations firm Golin—where she worked with clients such as the National Asphalt Pavement Association, Auto Care Association and Centers for Disease Control.
Michelle was inspired to make a difference since volunteering at the Maryland Science Center as a Kids Room on-floor educator, and since then, has been focusing her career and hobbies towards doing just that. While she’s not obsessing with typography and Pantone colors, Michelle enjoys hiking with her dog, watching nature documentaries and binging New Girl on repeat!
