Continuing the work started by Boyd N. Lyon, The Ocean Foundation, Boyd’s family and loved ones created this Committee Advised Fund to provide an annual scholarship to a marine biology student whose research is focused on sea turtles. The fund provides support to those projects that enhance our understanding of sea turtle behavior, habitat needs, abundance, spatial and temporal distribution, research diving safety, among others.
