SeaWeb International Sustainable Seafood Summit

2015

The Ocean Foundation worked with SeaWeb and Diversified Communications to offset the estimated carbon emissions from the 2015 Summit core activities in New Orleans. Participants were again offered the opportunity to offset their carbon emissions incurred through travel to the summit. The Ocean Foundation was chosen as the Summit’s partner due its focus on ocean habitats in developing a new way to naturally offset greenhouse gas emissions in the ocean—known as blue carbon.

2016

The Ocean Foundation worked with SeaWeb and Diversified Communications to offset the estimated carbon emissions from the 2016 Summit activities in Malta. Participants had the opportunity to offset their carbon emissions incurred through travel to the summit.
