Our Gray Whale monitoring and research programs in Baja California Sur are supported by grants and gifts from non-government, non-profit organizations, and from individuals like you. Supporters share our commitment to the conservation and science-based management of the Gray Whales’ wintering areas of Laguna San Ignacio and Bahia Magdalena, and the unique ecosystems that surround these regions. Your donations help us study the gray whales that congregate each winter in Mexico to breed and calve, as well as the dolphins, sea turtles, sea lions, commercially important fish and shellfish, and a multitude of migratory waterfowl and shore birds that call these coastal lagoon areas home.
Your support also allows us to provide opportunities to educate, train, and guide future generations of marine wildlife biologists and managers. Please become a part of our conservation and education mission by enrolling as recurring supporter.
Your contribution will be processed by The Ocean Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as our fiscal agent. The Ocean Foundation will direct your entire donation to our research program in Baja California Sur, Mexico. All donations to our Gray Whale Research in Mexico program are tax deductible under U.S. tax laws.
