Catharine Cooper loves all things ocean and expresses her concerns for the health of the sea through her writing and photography. An avid surfer, paddler, snorkeler and sailor, she spends as much time in or on the water as possible. Catharine splits her time between Southern California, where she recently drafted the Ocean Sustainability Element for the City of Laguna Beach, and Loreto, Baja California, where she works with Eco-Alianza, Inc. as a consultant in support of their environmental conservation initiatives. She is a regular contributor to the communications efforts of The Ocean Foundation.
