The mission of the Redfish Rocks Community Team (RRCT) is to support the success of the Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve and Marine Protected Area (“Redfish Rocks”) and the community through research, community engagement, socioeconomic development, and effective partnerships. The RRCT collaborates with Oregon Department of Fish Wildlife (ODFW) to develop recommendations for Redfish Rocks, considering biological and socioeconomic information and serve as liaisons between their constituents, communities, and ODFW. The RRCT coordinates with ODFW to Identify and evaluate emergent or critical issues involving Redfish Rocks, assist ODFW in developing an informed constituency, review management plans, evaluate and advise ODFW on the success of the implementation of operating plans and activities, and provide advice and recommendations regarding the management of Redfish Rocks.
