The Sawfish Conservation Society (SCS) was established as a not-for-profit in 2018 to connect the world to advance global sawfish education, research, and conservation. The SCS was founded on the belief of ‘conservation through collaboration’ and is an international team of sawfish researchers, policymakers, aquarists, fishers, and sawfish enthusiasts that work together to protect sawfishes.

View Project

The SCS practices a multifaceted approach to sawfish conservation by providing outreach materials and hosting events to support sawfish education, providing sawfish researchers with the tools and platforms needed to pursue their studies and promote collaboration, and assisting with the enforcement of protective legislation.

The Sawfish Conservation Society (SCS) is here to inform and educate people about the threatened sawfish species found across the globe.
